So … I had a conversation today, with a man who “really hopes America gives Obama the chance to finish what he started.” I, of course, disagreed, but a reasonable discussion ensued!
We talked about Unions: we talked about government regulations and how they’ve affected commmerce. We talked about the America’s rich & America’s poor. We talked about the flaws inherent in human nature. We talked about the failures of all government run programs, and still, he didn’t see the conflict in what he said.
Then he asked in reference to both the government bloat and the corporate greed, “Well, how much does anyone really need?” Thinking of the thousands absorbing America’s wealth, I turned the same question back on him. “How much do deliberately non-working individuals need to live at the expense of hard-working Americans?
