vote, WE THE PEOPLE

How long, fellow Patriots, are we going to allow the mainstream media to dictate the agenda for our national election process??? Since when is THEIR “progressive, liberal, socialist, Marxist” agenda the same as MAINSTREAM AMERICA, the same as OURS???

By bowing to their agenda, their questions, their declarations, their priorities, in our silence, we condone them! In complacency we sit by and watch them declare the election decided in favor of Obama – We allow them to declare “War on Women” and brainwash not only their devoted fans on the left, but most gullible, unsuspecting Americans!

The nation is RIPE for a stalwart, brazenly humble (sounds like a contradiction in terms, eh?) election to restore respect for the Law of our Land – the US CONSTITUTION! We cannot look to the left or the right, folks. We are it! No superhero is zooming in to save the day – no Mighty Mouse, or Superman! We must choose from one of those offering their service. Are we going to let MSNBC or CNN choose our next President?

Please, oh please, Americans … please … ENGAGE!!!

HELLO? ANYBODY OUT THERE???

We’ve known for months this race would be dirty, the worst in terms of lies and character assassination. There seems to be no limit how low some will go to convince others to vote “correctly!” But now, lives have been lost. It appears the whole coverup / explanation for the Benghazi attack was orchestrated to convince Americans that our President had al-Qaeda on the run, as he told us, even though all military intelligence reports to the contrary. They knew almost immediately it was a “terrorist attack,” a grim reminder of the 9/11/2001.

If we are not going to use our brains, this thing is over NOW!

If we don’t use our MOUTHS, this thing is over NOW!

REV. BOETCKER’S also spoke of the “Seven National Crimes”: (crimes of the people!)

“I DON’T THINK.”

“I DON’T KNOW.”

“I DON’T CARE.”

“I AM TOO BUSY.”

“I LEAVE WELL ENOUGH ALONE.”

“I HAVE NO TIME TO READ AND FIND OUT.”

“I AM NOT INTERESTED.”

NO EXCUSE!!!!

Confused??? Republican or Democrat? Check it out!

America, beliefs, Democrat, differences, Republican, vote

Contrary to the opinions of the general public, Republicans are not “bad guys” and the Democrats ride in to the rescue! Let me see if I can break it down for you and clear up the discrepancies.

Democrats believe individuals are ill equipped or prepared to make their own decisions and care for their selves and family. Democrats believe it is the government’s responsibility to make these basic decisions for us and provide for the basic needs of every individual. Democrats believe that those who do not work are entitled to having their basic needs met by those who do work, otherwise known as the redistribution of wealth. Democrats believe in the power of the “elite” – whether government, educators, or union bosses – these individuals have the power and make decisions FOR the masses (presumably for their best interest?) They also believe in opening our borders and allowing people to come and go as they please unrestricted. What democrats do NOT care about is how to pay for all these programs, so they raise taxes.

Republicans believe in the dignity of every individual, and the right for each American to individual freedom. Republicans believe that all people are created with equal rights as outlined in the US Constitution. Republicans believe in the “inalienable rights endowed by our Creator” on each person regardless of sex, religion, or race. Republicans do not favor one group above another – all Americans have equal rights – all Americans taxed according to their income. Republicans believe the primary duty of the federal government of the United States is to secure our borders and protect American citizens. Republicans believe in LEGAL immigration. What Republicans do NOT believe is that those who have earned much, built businesses and hired employees, ought to be taxed MORE for their success to pay for those who choose NOT to work.

DEMOCRATS BELIEVE in :

  • ending terrorism not emboldening terrorists,
  • fighting disease and poverty worldwide,
  • rejecting torture,
  • affordable energy costs,
  • fighting global warming and developing sensible alternative energy sources,
  • quality education for our children,
  • tax and election reform,
  • keeping religion out of government and our schools,
  • caring for our senior citizens,
  • affordable prescription drugs
  • providing quality health care for all,
  • creating good jobs,
  • protecting social security and Medicaid,
  • sexual equality and homosexual rights,
  • not enabling corrupt and oppressive governments,
  • a woman’s right to chose
  • a fair immigration policy,
  • civil rights for all,
  • safeguarding the environment and protecting wildlife
  • not opting to stimulate corporate profits and malfeasance at the expense of the working class of this country.
  • Democrats believe in spreading the wealth and taking the money from rich Americans who have worked hard for it or inherited it and then giving the money to the lower and middle class.”
  • REPUBLICANS BELIEVE in:

  • a strong military to protect our borders and promote the public safety
  • encouraging private enterprise to meet the medical needs of their employees at a reasonable fee
  • helping those in need to help themselves, providing basic humanitarian help whenever, wherever needed
  • a strong national defense because we have real and true enemies who seek our destruction and the destruction of our way of life
  • making available to every citizen all that is necessary (healthy food, water, shelter, heat, air) to maintain life at affordable costs.
  • research to promote life-sustaining, sensible provisions for our future (agriculture, medical, technical, etc)
  • fixing what is broken with our public school system to bring us even with less developed countries of the world. “Scores from the 2009 Programme for International Student Assessment to be released Tuesday show 15-year-old students in the U.S. performing about average in reading and science, and below average in math. Out of 34 countries, the U.S. ranked 14th in reading, 17th in science and 25th in math.” (USA Today 12/7/2010)
  • Real tax reform along the lines of the Fair Tax Act
  • Real term limits for elected officials
  • The right for every American to pursue and observe the religion of heir choice so long as it doesn’t restrict others from doing the same
  • Restructuring Medicare and prescription drug services as genuine entitlements, paid into by the recipients throughout their working life so they can accommodate all who need the programs and will need them in the future.
  • Reducing over-regulation and taxation, particularly on small business, so they can grow and produce more jobs in the private sector.
  • Re-defining Social Security and Medicaid to encourage employment and self-reliance over dependence on the government
  • Equality for all, not just some
  • Redefining our role in the international community to take care of our nation first, secure our borders, ensure domestic tranquility …
  • Protect the right of every baby to be born healthy
  • The rights contained in the US Constitution apply only to those legally living within her borders. Immigrants are welcome to apply for citizenship. The application process should be affordable and reasonable for all wishing to become American citizens.
  • Republicans believe in the American Dream, I.e. that anyone willing to work can make a living and acquire wealth according to their own ingenuity and work ethic.
  • YOU decide!

To Vote or Not to Vote – Eh, Why Bother?

“What’s the difference!  They’re ALL corrupt!”  The well-meaning American said she hadn’t voted in many years because all the candidates appear corrupt.  I asked her how much research she had done.  “Oh none!  I don’t think any of them are worth the time and effort.”

“And another thing – why can’t I vote for anyone I want in the primary?  I should be able to vote either party, if I choose!”This issue I’ll discuss another time SOON! Watch for it!

How many potential voters feel either all the candidates are corrupt or their individual vote couldn’t possibly haven an impact? I suspect many, and I understand this sentiment. Problem is, doing nothing isn’t the answer, is it? Ignoring the problem never makes is go away. So, maybe there’s some sense to be made of the choices we have before us. Maybe there is something an individual can do, as insignificant as it might seem, to make a positive difference.

    1. Is the nation, state, or town going in the direction that is best for all?

If all seems well, I’m afraid you’re either deceived or dreaming, but still, it’s YOUR choice, so back the current regime.

    2. If, however, the nation is NOT moving in the direction that is best for all, what authority do the PEOPLE have to change the current direction?
    3. GET INVOLVED! At the very least, if freedom is a valuable commodity, conscientious citizens can educate themselves on the issues and the unalienable rights afforded them by our Creator and the established republican Constitution.

    Thomas Jefferson said:

We may say with truth and meaning, that governments are more or less republican as they have more or less of the element of popular election and control in their composition; and believing, as I do, that the mass of the citizens is the safest depository of their own rights, and especially, that the evils flowing from the duperies of the people, are less injurious than those from the egoism of their agents, I am a friend to that composition of government which has in it the most of this ingredient.¹

Laziness is no excuse! Didn’t our parents or grandparents teach us that “Anything worth having is worth fighting for?” Life is easy today. Most of us live in well contained homes with heat, running water, and more food choices than a vast majority of humans on this globe, yet we’ve forgotten what preserves those things for us. Most of us will not face an armed hoard of enemies when we head home or starvation. Some do, true enough, but not most. We’ve forgotten the sight of the once horrific Iron Curtain, and other similar symbols of tyranny that affected millions of people for decades. Out of sight; out of mind.

While no human is above corruption, neither is that excuse for not exercising our right of choice. Choice is what separates us from tyranny. Choice represents FREEDOM. While we may not find a candidate that agrees with our sensibilities 100%, 7 out of 10 isn’t bad when we consider the alternatives!

Now is the time. There are so many currently in the decision-making process, search the web, read, listen, ask. Find the man or woman who most closely represents the opinions and issues, and cast a vote. If there isn’t one, write one in! On every ballot, a write-in option exists. Make a choice. Make your voice count, or hold on tightly as America drifts into oblivion like so many before her.

“Only government can cause inflation, preserve monopoly, and punish enterprise.” William F. Buckley, Jr
