President Obama created a delightful ditty called, “The Life of Julia.” It is a plan of government dependence for WOMEN from cradle to grave! If you are among those who feel ENTITLED to everything the government can think to provide, you can check out “Julia.” I find it among the most singularly misogynistic policies ever devised by MAN! What if Ms Rosa Parks had done nothing and still expected things to change without her efforts and those who came alongside her? Would Ms Parks have appreciated the “Life of Julia?” She didn’t sit around and wait for UNCLE SAM to take care of her, and neither did millions of other women, single, minorities … WOMEN are STRONG, creative, industrious, and tenacious!

Or Harriet Beecher Stowe, did she know Julia? (1811-1896) Her most famous work, Uncle Tom’s Cabin, helped to change the American landscape for people of all races. Her vision and tenacity gave voice to slave interests. Do you think she fits President Obama’s image of Julia?

Or Ms Clara Barton, business woman, nurse, and founder of perhaps the most singularly helpful “missionary” organization to this day! Is Ms Barton anything like Julia?

I could go on and on. Seriously, this whole issue is like a nail driven under my finger nail!
Who the hell is this mythical, composite weak, dependent women, and
WHY does she feel the need to play the helpless female? I thought we had been EMANCIPATED, or at least WANTED to be EMANCIPATED! Do we? or Not?
I thought we had worked our way FREE of the apron strings that bound us to that image of HELPLESSNESS and DEPENDENCY! Guess not. Our modern, PROGRESSIVE President thinks women are helpless, clueless and useless. He welcomes Sharia law which equates women with chattel, belongings of men, and he creates and brags about a program to CARRY WOMEN from BIRTH to GRAVE. And this flatters us? This is a PROGRESSIVE thing? This is what Sen Barbara Boxer shouts about? This is an heroic measure to rescue our helpless women like Ms Fluke? I thought her name was Sandra, not Julia!
Regardless of political overtones, under ANY circumstances I would be OUTRAGED to be told this program was a representation of ME! It couldn’t be more wrong or more offensive! I am a FREE, self-motivated, educated, feminine, active, family-centered, divinely created American women! There is NOTHING I cannot do with the help of my God and my friends! I certainly do not ask my government to pay my bills or birth control! Any modern, self-respecting American women would feel the same! Women are much more concerned about the economy, about our children’s education, about the availability of work … and of course, FOOD PRICES!!!!
I have joined with Ann Romney and other Conservative women to make sure President Obama knows he got it wrong! We will be counted among the Independent, Strong, Conservative Feminine voices shouting for Conservative values and an end to gluttonous spending throughout government. Come on, ladies, let’s show NOW and Senator Boxer what American Women REALLY want!
