On June 20, 2012, former Green Jobs Czar for President Barack Obama and self-avowed Communist, Van Jones, wrapped up his Take Back the American Dream conference in Washington, D.C.

During Jones’ speech, those in attendance were asked to envision waking up in June 2013 under a Tea Party government and how “terrible” it would be living under it.

MRCTV’s Joe Schoffstall approached Van Jones after his speech and asked what he thinks a “Tea Party government” would look like. Jones went on to say that the Tea Party philosophy of “wild, completely unregulated markets’” is wrong. He claimed they don’t understand history, are ignorant or don’t tell the truth, and their ultimate goal is to destroy or smash down those tools that make America great.

Hmmm, well let’s see. “Wild, completely unregulated markets” is anarchy, not Conservative or even Libertarian government philosophy. Tea Party participants are working to unearth our founding documents, re-educate the adult population on The Constitution, the Declaration of Independence, and the Federalist papers along with the important men and women who worked to shape our nation. We seek only what the Constitution guarantees us … liberties to live, worship, protect our property and loved ones, and build the life we choose, within the reasonable limits of community. That is to say, my freedom is only good until it bums into yours, then we must be civil and moral to resolve the differences according to Law. THAT is how a Constitutional Republic is supposed to operate under the three branches of government that are supposed to check and balance each other while We-the-People hold them all accountable to the promises they made and the Constitution that forms the boundaries.
