Oh say, can you see, by the dawn’s early light
What so proudly we hailed a the twilight’s last gleaming …

Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight
O’re the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming …

And the rockets red glare, the bombs bursting in air
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there!

Oh say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave …
O’re the land of the free and the home of the brave?

You’ll notice, the lyrics of this beloved anthem pose a question. In my mind, a timeless question.

The flag waves on …
The question is:
Does our flag still wave …

O’re the land of the free And the home of the brave?

Seems freedom requires a certain bravery, a peculiar courage to maintain. Are We-the-People up to the task?

According to what we have seen & continue to see rising across America, with our “Concord-Lexington” battle won in WI the other night, I believe courage is rising to meet the task at hand. It has just begun, this struggle to determine the path our nation will follow. The Presidential race is NOT the only race of significance. In towns & states from coast to coast, the future is at stake. The future of America is in OUR hands … right where it belongs!

Oh say, Can you see … Freedom rising? Do you dare?
