Tennessee Man Has 30 Kids, Asks Judge For Child Support Break
Desmond Hatchett just realized something. He cannot support his 30 kids on his minimum wage job. He fathered 30 children with 11 different women. He’s had four children in a year on two separate occasions.
Who are these women? Why do they keep having his babies? And why doesn’t he spend money on protection?
Now he’s asked a judge for some relief in his child support payments.
Half his salary is being divided among the 30 kids but what is half of minimum wage divided by 30? Tennessee does not have a state minimum wage, so the national minimum wage of $7.25 applies. Half of that divided by 30 is 12 cents an hour. So even if he worked a full time work week of 40 hours, it wouldn’t even amount to $5 a week!
He promised the courts he’d stop having kids three years ago when he had 21 kids. But he did not obey that promise.
How about…Liberals…get this man a vasectomy.
ha! Conservatives! lol
Here I am stuck in the middle again, but I have to say you can’t fix stupid. I think birth control should be free and available to everyone. (Not abortion, mind you.) Because the price we pay in the end for all these kids must surely cost far more.
AGREED! My friend, you are not as “stuck in the middle” as you think! I agree that birth control should be available, but I also believe alternative behavior options ought to me taught. After all, I was a virgin until i was 24! My choice! So it is possible! Both of my daughters waited until their 20’s … not sure about my son! It’s not fair to our kids to tell them they cannot control themselves, so must get on the pill!
I appreciate you stopping by, my friend, and adding your thoughts!
