This film was made in 2003 … The ethnic cleansing has been going on THAT LONG?????? And the Media is … WHERE???? God, forgive us!
Since 2003, at least, the religion of peace has been actively eliminating Christians from Nigeria … It continues there and many other nations around the globe on this Holy weekend 2012. At some point, Christians need to realize what is happening, and arm themselves with the Biblical sword. In the tiny prophetic book of Hosea, God tells his people through his prophet that they perish because they have no VISION, no knowledge of the TRUTH. We cannot afford to “play church” any longer. If the God of Creation truly indwells us, we are equipped to STAND with VISION, knowing what has been, and assured of what is promised.
We’ve seen the huge exaggeration of Trayvon, and the media’s about face as the FACTS surface through the miry muck. Such a ruckus from the liberal left – unjustified by facts while plenty of FACTS are available on the thousands of Christians being slaughtered by Muslims – some of whom our President has welcomed into the White house!
Appalled yet? Outraged yet? Angry enough to DO SOMETHING YET???
“Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.” (Matthew 10:16)
There is a youthful naivety among most Americans in spite of the angry, bitter world in which we live today, in spite of our sophistication. We tend strongly to believe in the best of people – to believe that all people are inherently good and decent. While a sympathize with this notion, sadly, it is false.
We may behave “acceptably,” but our motives, in the secret place of our heart, are not lofty and noble, they are selfish. Seldom, if ever, do we do anything “good” without selfish motivation. We are all in the same boat, every human since Adam (whether literal or figurative.) There were three offenses in the Garden of Eden and those same three offenses rule our individual nature daily, unless we DO something about it.
16 “For all that is in the world —
the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life —
is not of the Father but is of the world. 17
And the world is passing away, and the lust of it;
but he who does the will of God abides forever.”
1 John 2: 16-17
This is the reason Christ came to rescue us. We were unable to rescue ourselves, in spite of our best efforts. It is also why we are not saved by our works, our behavior, but rather we are saved by faith in the only One whose motives remained pure throughout his life on earth – Jesus Christ. Sure, we can do good things, even say good things, but it’s not enough. Deep inside each of us, God planted a free will. He could have made us puppets to obey His every word, but He didn’t. He gave us the CHOICE! Sadly for us, we, through Adam (whether Adam is literal or figurative,) chose our own way rather than God’s way and it cost us big time!
“Disobedience always pays a price;
Obedience brings blessing.” gramma’s wisdom
When we, as individuals, chose Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we accept His help AND His sinless nature into our lives. It’s kind of like a new muscle that has to be exercised to grow strong, but it is there, nonetheless. In our effort to walk in God’s ways, we often become targets for the “wolves” around us, those who would take advantage of our devotion to self-improvement.
On a larger scale, our American culture was built by bible-believing people from various nations around the globe. Prior to WW1, our culture clearly evidenced its Christian influence. Neighbors readily helped neighbors, promises were largely kept, and virtue was an unspoken goal as part of the American way. This was not the case in other parts of the world where Christianity had a lesser influence.
The world in which we live today, demonstrates the results of human nature’s selfish bent. The power grab is obvious between Nations, between groups of men, between ideologies. The same lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life continue to grow and rage all around us. Fear cripples millions of people these days – fear of the future, fear of the TRUTH, fear of pain (emotional or physical) … Hatred has multiplied in America over the last few years because it seems unchecked in our leaders, so it must be OK, right?
Yet, those who understand the love of God – the UNCONDITIONAL love of God – find a growing empowerment to stand. God doesn’t ask for our birth certificate, our national or political credentials, our union affiliation, our sexual orientation or gender ….. or any of the other things that seem important. God only asks for our heart, and in exchange He actually gives us a NEW one equipped to cherish Him AND the creation (and creatures – even people) He made.
“Go your way;
behold, I send you out as lambs among wolves.”
Luke 10:3
Our world is spinning out of control. Politicians wrestle for power by making unsustainable promises to the people, or by listening to their selected advisers. The hatred and violence we see today did not start with the election of Obama, nor is it his fault. He is merely a puppet. Whether it’s spiritual devils or human devils pulling the strings, really matters not. Islam is sweeping across the face of the earth because of its hatred and condoned violence. It is causing unlikely alliances to achieve political gain. The Russians, the Chinese, the Muslim peoples all seem focused on America’s destruction, yet our own leadership seems to be in agreement. How can this be? It is no longer clear who our “enemies” are and who our “friends” are. Still evil grows stronger, less subtle while America focuses on saving the planet? on … rising gasoline prices? Very SELF-absorbed, don’t you think? The media helps this notion by making a media mountain out of one accidentally killed boy (broadcasting a false & doctored story) while ignoring the thousands slaughtered daily in the Sudan and Nigeria, the women tortured and abused in the name of Islam, the Christians martyred in remote, unsophisticated places around the world. We go about our daily business in ignorance and apathy.
“Be sober, be vigilant;
because your adversary the devil walks about
like a roaring lion,
seeking whom he may devour.”
1 Peter 5:8
We are exhorted to be alert, to be wise as serpents, to be watchful. One of the first things a soldier learns is the value of knowing the enemy. A soldier cannot fight an enemy he does not see or understand. Neither can we. Sticking our heads in the sand will not make the evil disappear, nor will it disarm it. Life, as we have known it in the USA is rapidly changing. For the better or the worse? So what are our options?
vote in the best possible option for change?
continue to ignore the encroaching darkness?
play dumb and hope it skips over you? Or
take a stand, with a clean heart and pure motives, to obey the God of Creation, the One with the plan, the One on the Throne – in spite of the evil choices of mankind. I exhort us to cling to our God, our faith and our guns in the days to come, and to understand the times. Time to get back to basics.

(CBS/AP) One of the most successful artists of all time, prolific painter Thomas Kinkade – the self-described “Painter of Light” – died Friday at the age of 54.
A spokesperson for the Kinkade family said the artist died at home in Los Gatos, Calif., apparently of natural causes.
Kinkade’s paintings were anything but controversial, depicting scenes of a light-filled America with a heavy emphasis on home, hearth and church. His sentimental scenes of country gardens and pastoral landscapes in dewy morning light were beloved by many but criticized by the art establishment.
The painter once said that he had something in common with Walt Disney and Norman Rockwell: He wanted to make people happy.
Those light-infused renderings are often prominently displayed in buildings, malls, and on products — generally depicting tranquil scenes with lush landscaping and streams running nearby. Many contain images from Bible passages.
“I’m a warrior for light,” Kinkade, a self-described devout Christian, told the San Jose Mercury News in 2002, a reference to the medieval practice of using light to symbolize the divine. “With whatever talent and resources I have, I’m trying to bring light to penetrate the darkness many people feel.” ……… MORE HERE

What the Bible Says about “Good Friday” and Resurrection Sunday
On this remembrance of the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ, I wonder how many “Christians” apprehend even a portion of what occurred through this the greatest act of hate toward an innocent man that was turned into the greatest act of Love. It is something the vast majority of people cannot comprehend. Nevertheless, it remains the simplest of Truths. Jesus, the only begotten of the Father, left his throne in heaven to walk among men and demonstrate God’s Grace and Truth.(John 1:14) He was guilty of no crime, convicted of no offense, yet the church leaders feared losing their positions and wealth, so they had him crucified. It could not have happened unless God willed it. And so He did, for without the spotless sacrifice of Jesus for the sinfulness of all mankind, none of us could hope for an eternity with Him.(Heb 9:22) A way was made through the veil of his flesh, the Bible says. (Heb 10:20) “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Rom 5:8) This is the GREAT GOOD NEWS of this Holy season!
The Quran’s teachings regarding salvation are inconsistent. On the one hand, the Quran teaches that salvation is based on purification by good deeds (Quran 7:6–9). A Muslim can become righteous through prayer, almsgiving, fasting, and living according to the Quran. Yet the Quran also teaches that Allah has predetermined every person’s destiny, and one’s righteous acts may or may not affect Allah’s decision (Quran 57:22). It teaches that everyone, both the righteous and the unrighteous, will be led into hell by Allah, before the righteous will enter heaven (Quran 19:67–72). Therefore no Muslim can know his or her eternal destiny in this life. Even Muhammad himself was unsure of his salvation (Quran 31:34; 46:9).
Today, whenever Muslims mention the name of Muhammad, they always add the phrase, “Peace be upon him,” because Muhammad’s eternal destiny is uncertain, and the Muslim must ask Allah to be merciful to him. This contradiction between the Quran’s teaching of salvation by works, and its teaching of Allah determining salvation, regardless of one’s works, results in Islam being the world’s most uncertain religion regarding salvation.
The uncertainty of the Muslim’s salvation compared to the certainty of salvation through Jesus Christ is a fundamental difference. We must remember the promises of Christ, the certainly of our salvation (John 5:24) It is only through Christ’s righteousness that a person can be saved (Romans 5:21).
A Christian’s hope is that the truly repentant heart can be saved by grace through personal faith in Jesus Christ’s finished work on the Cross. GOOD FRIDAY commemorates Christ’s suffering and death on our behalf. He died, descended into hell, and took the keys of hell when he arose on the third day – Resurrection Day!
Islam’s View of Man’s Sinful Nature and the Christian Response
Like the Bible, the Quran teaches that people are descendants of Adam and Eve and are imperfect sinners. However, the Quran also teaches that their god, Allah, inspired sin in humankind (Quran 4:88; 7:16–18; 9:51; 14:4; 16:93; 35:8; 57:22; 74:31; 91:7–9). Muslims believe that humans are sinners because Allah has willed it. They do not understand the Bible’s teaching that humans, not God, caused sin through rebellion against God (Romans 5:12, 5:18–19). Likewise, Muslims have no reverence for LIFE. The Bible clearly names Jesus as the Creator (Heb 1:10-12)
I didn’t set out to make this a comparative piece, yet so many Americans call themselves Christians, but do not know the basic tenets of Biblical Christianity. (Not talking about denominational differences here, but the most simple, basic foundations of Christ’s Church!)
Jesus came to earth for two reasons:
“I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10)
“For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.” (1 John 3:8)
This is why LIFE is so precious. This is why Christians of all denominations abhor abortion as murder! Jesus died that each of us might live life abundantly, without fear. I’m glad for this reminder, how about you?
